About Monica Miklas
I am an award-winning creative producer of theatre, cultural events, and fundraisers based in Los Angeles, California.
Over the last decade, I've produced dozens of events across the Southland for organizations like Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, comedy ensemble Lost Moon Radio, and my own immersive theatre outfit, Capital W.
At Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, I managed a portfolio of events that included a fundraising gala grossing more than $500,000 annually, the guest artist residency program, and the Sound Investment commissioning club, which connects patrons with a composer penning a new work for the Orchestra.
I'm an alumna of Arts for LA’s Activate program, representing Los Angeles City Council District 1. I'm also a founding board member of the League of Experiential and Immersive Artists (LEIA), an industry group for immersive creators.
Backing up my experience are an MBA/MFA in Theatre Management from CSULB, and BA in Sociology from Stanford. In my free time, I practice aerial silks and contemplate joining the circus.
